Meet the MFCD team

Melanie Frazier

Hi there! I’m Melanie Frazier, Owner and Principal Designer of MF Creative Designs, a branding house that specializes in event branding, logos, gifting, and visual styling.

With many years of experience in visual design and merchandising for Neiman Marcus, I now enjoy the honor of combining my two loves: window and spatial design + graphic and event design. We at MF Creative Designs are passionate about designing and curating events, paper, gifts, and brands that are memorable, magical, and immersive in a cohesive aesthetic.

When I'm not working with my wonderful clients, I am with my sweet husband and three little boys, or friends and family. Hosting is my love language and I THRIVE off of people! Otherwise, you'll find me scouring estate sales, sending a voice memo, knee deep in a project, or constantly rearranging around the house. And when I'm not doing that, I am devouring — yet another! — podcast on a good, long run.

I can’t wait to meet you! Together, we truly can bring any vision to life.

Abby Prude

Abby is the maker of the lists and keeper of logistics. For 13 years, Abby cultivated a love of details by working in and executing events ranging from Country Clubs to national sporting events to weddings. Following her time in the events world, Abby and her family moved to Wichita, Kansas, where her husband was the Head Golf Professional at a local Country Club.  During their six years in Kansas, Abby and her husband owned and ran the Pro Shop, which opened a new love of retail and sourcing the perfect items for the shop or its members.  Now, back in Dallas and joining forces with MF Creative Designs, Abby is able to merge her experience in events, retail, and business.

When not hunting for the perfect product or making the next list, Abby is taking care of her family, her husband, Phillip, her daughter, Harper and her son, Hudson.  Traveling is a love and while often it is to see her family in Kansas or Phillip’s in far west Texas, any adventure outdoors is one they will try!

Cindy duran

Cindy is a Graphic Designer with a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communication + Design from the University of Texas at Arlington, and has more than 3 three years experience in the stationery world.

Cindy’s love for art started at a very young age when she began experimenting with letterpress and printmaking techniques. It wasn't until college that she fell in love with digital and graphic design. She has always loved creating meaningful and creative visual solutions for people through art, and truly enjoys being a part of the process of helping bring your wildest dreams to reality!

When Cindy’s not in front of her computer designing, she is usually saying yes to spontaneous trips with friends, sitting out in the sun, or cuddling with her beagle, Oliver. She loves the hot Texas sun and fully takes advantage of the nice weather all year long by going on hikes, picnics and bike rides all over DFW. She’s our resident adventure-seeker who loves to keep busy!

we believe

We believe in good, clean, unique design.

We believe passionately in the art of snail mail.

We believe that branding is an extension of your personal sensibilities, and that it is an art form.

We believe that everything should have a cohesive aesthetic.

We believe in proper etiquette.

We believe in the tradition of paper.

We believe in toothy, thick, billowy cotton paper.

Most importantly: we believe that good design makes people feel relaxed, happy, connected, known, and loved. (Ok, maybe we’re pushing it!! … but just maybe.)
